"Hi! My name is Frankie Harrer (@frankieharrer) and I live in Malibu, California. I've been surfing since I was nine years old, as an after school thing with some guys I grew up with. I love it, because it's a sport where you get to be completely immersed in nature, and that's an amazing feeling. It's dangerous, but that's exciting, too. It's also just generally hard on your skin and hair, because you're constantly in the sun and salt water. I'm all about hydrating products after surfing. A lot of the awesome girls I surf with also don't wear a ton of makeup––they're totally stripped down, glowing, strong, and happy. I'm really inspired by that look.

Sunscreen is the most important part of my routine. I use Shade Sunscreen for my face when I'm surfing, because it stays on really well in the water, which is necessary when you're out there for hours at a time
